Vietnam rail holiday 14 days

Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi ( D )
Mekongdelta.travel guide and driver will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport on arrival, and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Welcome dinner featured with Vietnamese specialty at Thang Long restaurant.  Evening is reserved for Water Puppet Show. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City discovery – Sapa ( B,L, D)( Night train )
Vietnam rail holidays, you will call on Ha Noi with a visit to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One pillar pagoda. The next stop is The Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first college -Quoc Tu Giam, then roaming around Hoan Kiem lake. Have lunch in nice restaurant No 69 at Old House.
Afternoon : Visit Ethnology Museum. Free time.
20h30 Transfer to Railways for an overnight train LC 5 ( 22h00 – 6h00 ) to Sapa. Overnight stay on cabin the train.

Day 3:  Sapa – Cat Cat ( B,L, D)
AM: 7h30 arrive in Lao Cai train terminal, Mekongdelta.travel guide and driver will drive you to Sapa. Free for visiting ethnic market, Sapa town.
PM : Trekking to visit Cat cat village, H’mong people and Catcat waterfall lying in a small valley. Overnight stay at featured hotel in Sapa.

Day 4 : Lao Chai – TaVan -Ha Noi ( B,L, D) ( Night train )
All day trekking to visit some minority villages. Lao Chai – TaVan.You will meet some different minority people H’mong, Zay, Red Dzao, you can see the different colorful dresses. 17h00 transfer to Lao Cai train terminal for night train to Hanoi. Overnight stay on train.

Day 5:Ha noi -Halong -Ha Noi ( B,L, D)
5h00 Arrive Hanoi Train terminal. You will be picked up and be transferred to the featured hotel for break and have breakfast. 8h00 Leave Ha Noi for Halong bay. 7 hours boat trip offer you a chance to enjoy the breath-taking beauty of Halong Bay – the World’s Natural Wonder. Afternoon arrive back in Hanoi. Evening is reserved for Water Puppet Show. Have dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Ha Noi – Shopping – Hue ( B,L, D) ( Night train )
Full day free time for shopping. 17h30 transfer to Ha Noi train terminal for Train SE1 ( 19h00 – 8h00 ) to Hue. Overnight stay on train.

Day 7: Hue City discovery ( B,L, D)
Mekongdelta.travel guide and driver will pick you up at Hue train terminal and transfer to your featured hotel in Hue.
Boat trip to visit ThienMu Pagoda and TuDuc and King’s tombs (KhaiDinh). Visit Imperial Citadel in the afternoon. The tour ends by shopping at Dong Ba Market. Have dinner at the Royal restaurant. Overnight stay at your featured hotel.

Day 8: Hue -Hoi An ( B,L, D)
It is great to have a car drive from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang with great visit and picturesque landscapes! Lang Co beach, great capture from HaiVan Pass. On arrival in Da Nang, you will pay a visit to The Cham Museum in Danang. Afternoon visit Marble Mountain and enjoying sea/sun bathing in Cua Dai beach. Arrive in Hoi An, check into your featured hotel and stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang ( B,L, D) Daily Train.
Am : Transfer from Hoian to Da Nang terminal for a train S1 ( 11h00 -20h00 ) to Nha Trang.  Arrive in Nha Trang, Mekongdelta.travel guide and driver will pick you up and drive to your hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 10: Nha Trang  Island ( B,L, D)
8:00am starting boat trip to Hon Tam Island and fishing village in Nha Trang, visit coral island and Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Have dinner and stay overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 11: Nha Trang  – Ho Chi Minh ( B,L, D)
8am, Mekongdelta.travel guide will pick you up at your hotel for sleeper coach journey to Ho Chi Minh City with a visit at PongkrongiaRai Cham temple in Phan Rang. Have lunch break at the local restaurant en-route. 17h00 arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Check into your hotel.  Have dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh City discovery ( B,L, D)
Discover The City with visits to The City Hall, post office, Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market, Independent palace, History museum, Thien Hau pagoda, Binh Tay Market, and Cholon. Have dinner cruise at Saigon River. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Mekong River discovery of Cai Be – Vinh Long or “My Tho – Ben Tre” ( B,L, D)
6h30 am :

Mekong Delta Travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and leave for Cai Be by car/van with stop for photos in Tan An town overlooking the beautiful rice fields. On arrival in Cai Be, you will get on the motorized boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and learn the locals business happening on waterway among their vessels. Then wander into the villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

You will then go on a boat ride to the island through small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a family business to see how locals make coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn. Keep boating to the other island to visit the traditional house dating 18 century, and have lunch break with local fresh specialties. Take a walk around peaceful fruit garden. Our a/c vehicle transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. You will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at an estimated time of arrival at 5pm. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Day departure ( B )
